The perfect Father-in-Law always supportive, always there to help or offer advice, always a great and lovely grand father to his three grandson's two of whom he inherited. Despite his illness in later life he retained his humour and his interest in the world about him. His love and his pride in his son and daughter always showed through.
I will miss you Alan you were a pleasure to know and the world will be a poorer place without you.

David
